Sons of the Pioneers The Pavilion Theatre at the Shepherd of the Hills 5586 W. Hwy 76
This Grammy award winning group returns to
the Pavilion Theatre at the Shepherd of the Hills in 2009 to celebrate their amazing 75th anniversary as one of America's best
loved groups. Designated as "National Treasures" by the Smithsonian Institute, the Pioneers have
received countless awards and
accolades over the years. They have their own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and have appeared in 98 movies with such stars
as John Wayne, Gene Autry, Bing Crosby and 45 films with
Roy Rogers. Their hits such as Cool
Water, Tumbling Tumbleweeds, Ghost Riders in the Sky and Happy Trails
set the standard for every other western group that has come along.
Awards and Recognitions for The Sons of the Pioneers

* Over 3,000 compositions to their credit
* Inducted into the Western Music Association, National Cowboy and Singing Cowboy Halls of Fame, and their music has been
inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame.
This great show features a delicious dinner served off an authentic 1800's chuckwagon.
